Internship Opportunities

The Office of the Winnebago County State’s Attorney is currently seeking intern candidates for our Criminal and Civil Bureaus. Apply to become part of a hard-working team that seeks justice for the community while building meaningful relationships. This is your opportunity to roll up your sleeves and learn the skills to become an experienced and effective prosecutor that helps protect the community. You will be given tools to learn and develop new skills while doing purposeful work. You will be trusted and encouraged to work both independently and as a team member with colleagues who are working towards a common goal. 

We are looking for a candidate to play an essential part in effectively moving defendants through the criminal justice system. Someone who will prioritize the prosecution of those violent criminals and divert non-violent offenders from the criminal justice system. This is what we strive for at the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office. If you possess a strong passion for serving others in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you.
